But First, They Must Catch You…

Movie CoverToday I saw a unique animated film from 1978 entitled Watership Down. It is the story about a group of rabbits and their struggle to survive in a hostile world.

Okay, so the plot may be a bit weak, but I still immensely enjoyed the movie. I’m amazed at how much emotion and life the animation is able to convey. Visually, Watership Down is absolutely amazing. The scenery is painstakingly detailed and the scenes and transitions have a very artistic feel.

One unforgettable scene features the song “Bright Eyes,” sung by Art Garfunkel. I can’t describe any more details without ruining the movie.

If you like cute little animated bunnies, good music, artsy animation, mystery, and adventure, then I think you will enjoy Watership Down.
