Sleep
Sometimes I envy the mythical princess Sleeping Beauty. Admittedly, that probably sounds a bit odd and/or disturbing for a number of reasons, but you should know by now that all manner of weirdness is fair game when Jed speaks his mind.
Sleeping Beauty’s “curse” seems like the ideal life to me… being placed in a state of indefinite dreamless sleep until an auspicious event occurs which wakens her and initiates the “happily ever after” portion of the story — I think that would be nice. It would sure beat dragging myself out of bed in the morning to begin a new day which promises to be just as bad as (if not worse than) today.

Well, as God hasn’t designed us to hibernate until heaven, He must have either something very important for us to do, or have some very good things in store for us. I personally would rather trust God that life is really worth living, than chance wasting it ‘sleeping’.
