Treasure, Part II
I finally finished cleaning my room! In doing so, I discovered many ancient treasures even more valuable and amazing than a bubble ring (I know that’s hard to believe).
Here are a few of my findings…
- A $50 gift certificate to my university book store. Nice!! (Thanks, Grandma & Grandpa!)
- A very sweet card from the members of the youth group I attended in high school, sent to me a year or so after I had graduated (complete with nice notes from my dad, my brother Josiah, my sister Moriah, my friends Beth & Bekah, and many others). (Thanks you guys! I cannot tell you what an encouragement that was.)
- Various beautiful letters, cards, artwork, etc. from my friends BethanyH and LauraH. (Thanks you two! I consider your handmade gifts to be among my most valuable possessions.)
- Numerous nice notes from my mom. (Thanks, Mom! You’re the best.)
- Cute pictures made by my sister Micah, given to me as birthday presents. (Aw, thanks, Micah! I think you will be a famous artist some day).
- And last but not least… my special stuffed animal (a bear, I think) Chucky!! (I am sorry that I have neglected you for so long, Chucky!)
So many good memories! Actually, cleaning my room was a fun experience. And there’s the added benefit of being able to walk around without tripping over assorted books, clothing, and electronics equipment!

Well, Josiah and I both have small furry stuffed animals known as “Chucky.” I think it’s sort of a species name.
The two Chuckys had lots of adventures together. Then Moriah felt left out, so she got a Chucky as well.
So there are at least three Chuckys in existence. I’ll have to upload a picture of them some time.

I thought Chucky was Josiah’s!
