Haha… happy April Fools Day, everybody! Hopefully everyone now realizes that the previous article about my experience at the Carrie Underwood concert was totally bogus. I know I fooled one or two people. Did anybody else fall for it?!?

So here’s the real story…

• There was actually a Carrie Underwood concert yesterday at 7:30pm at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan — that much is true. However…
• I did not attend the concert or even purchase a ticket (the picture of the ticket stub was totally photoshopped).
• I am not a fan of American Idol.
• I am not a fan of country or pop music (eww!).
• I don’t have any friends at the U of I (much less female friends) who would be interested in accompanying me to a concert six hours north of here (or really any concert, for that matter!).
• Personally, I don’t find Ms. Underwood to be especially attractive.

So yeah… you’ve been April Fool’d. I hope you’ve enjoyed this prank as much as I have!
