Last Day of Classes
Well, the beginning of this semester was a complete disaster, but now it’s looking like everything is going to turn out okay!
The class that I’ve been the most worried about is High Performance Computer Architecture. I haven’t picked up my graded midterm and homeworks, so I have no idea how I’m doing with respect to grades. But today, I ran into a friend who told me that someone saw my exam in the stack of graded papers and it looked like I had gotten the highest score. That is a good sign!
A while ago, one of my students from last year asked me to write her a letter of recommendation for a scholarship application. She recently sent me a nice thank you card and said that she had won the scholarship! So I guess my letter of recommendation was a success!
One of my students this semester was really struggling in the class at first, but he spent quite a bit of time working with me in office hours, and it seems like now he understands the material fairly well. Today he gave me a box of chocolates and told me that he really appreciated all my help!
So I feel really blessed that I’ve been able to help some people, and I feel extremely lucky that I’ve managed to do alright in my classes.

Are you sure that you wouldn’t enjoy being a teacher or professor?
