Spring Concert
Tonight I attended the the Homeschool Band/Choir Spring Concert in Cedar Rapids. It was rather enjoyable.
My friends Bethany (flute), Breanna (percussion), and Tiffany (saxophone) played in the band, and they did a very nice job. Several great selections were played, such as “Eye of the Tiger” (from the movie Rocky) and the hymn “Crown Him with Many Crowns.” Also, the not-so-great selection “Mars” from The Planets was played (sorry, I’m not a fan of Holst). 
The choir part was excellent as well. My friend Mr. Wheeler was the director. My sisters Moriah and Micah sang in the choir, as did the aforementioned friends. They sang some sacred songs such as “Amazing Grace.”
As you probably know, I love going to concerts, and this one was no exception!! I’m looking forward to the next homeschool band/choir performance.

Glad you enjoyed the post!! I apologize for it’s brevity… I wanted to write more, but it was really late and I was having trouble transferring my thoughts into coherent sentences.

Thanks so much for the post! Wish I could have gone. I was in the good ole’ Choir and Band not too long ago… Loved hearing about it.
