Today
Today was a relatively good day. I got some actual assignments at work, so now I don’t have to sit at my desk reading spec sheets all the time!
I met a friend for lunch, and we had an in-depth discussion about the awfulness of 80′s music and the subtle brilliance of Sufjan Stevens. It was most enjoyable.
Also, I did some tutoring. A friend of mine is studying for the ACT… I previously helped her prepare for the SAT, and she was happy with her scores, so I get a repeat customer! It makes me feel really good to be able to help. Plus, I found out that she is a fellow Radiohead fan! She recently got to see them live at Lollapalooza… I was insanely jealous (for those of you who don’t know, their US tour dates are few and far between).
By the way, if you or anyone you know is studying for the math sections of the SAT/ACT (that includes you, Moriah!), I would be happy to be of service. Math-test-taking strategies are my specialty.
