Dreary Day
Today was a somewhat cold and dreary day. Perfect weather for wearing sweaters (a good aspect of cold weather), but not perfect for doing anything outside (a not-so-good aspect of cold weather). After getting home from church, I decided that the best thing to do would be to make some hot chocolate and watch Flash Gordon. I found this to be a most enjoyable (though probably nonproductive) way to spend the afternoon on a cold day!
What do my readers enjoy doing on days like today?

I would like to spend dreary days reading in front of the fire, bundling up and taking a walk, and then coming back to a cup of tea. I just end up doing school all day long, though. Sp I’m pulling for dreary days all through break so I can enjoy myself then.

Mike, that sounds great! Actually hot cider sounds really good right now. Unfortunately, I don’t have any, and I’m too tired to go to the store and get some.
Hi Bethany! I have not heard from you in a while (on this blog, that is), so I’m excitedly exclaiming “hello”!! Yeah… school… such is life. Perhaps you could combine school with these other activities. Read your Chemistry book in front of the fire.

I am very much like you. However, one addition. I like soup on these days. It doesn’t have to be home made. Any soup will do for me. Hot Apple Cider also. Again, I’m not picky…instant cider will do. I like taking a nap on days like yesterday (and what appears to be today as well). So, my day would look something like this: Sit down for some soup for lunch. Move to the couch and turn the fire place on and enjoy a nice hot cup of Apple Cider. Turn on the TV to anything (a sporting activity that can provide a constant background noise is preferred), lay on the couch and grab a nice blanket. Wake up a couple hours later.
That’s how I deal w/ dreary days.
