Minimalism, Part II
Okay, my experiment did not work so well. I think my artistic vision goes beyond what I can actually achieve. In other words, I am an extremely incompetent artist.
So I think I’ll stick with the good olde fashioned layout that I have currently. Maybe I can figure out some slight modifications to make it more cool.

Realizing that no one will have the slightest clue how to take that, realize also:
1. It’s late.
2. I’m tired
3. I have huge exams coming up
4. I love organic chemistry
5. I hate cultural relevancy
Nuff said.

Just make sure that you “contextualize” the above passages.
Oh, and don’t judge.
‘K.
Nuff randomness.

Yay!! Hi, Nathan. When I say “organic,” I am indeed speaking of carbon chains, or more specifically, carbon-based life. I am organic, you are organic, trees and plants are organic. Computers are not organic. Web sites are not organic. However, I’m searching for ways to overcome that limitation of my blog… I want it to be more like an outcropping of nature than a collection of pixels on a screen.
I dunno… a little cultural relevance never hurt anyone. (Wasn’t the apostle Paul being culturally relevant when he quoted poetry to the men at Mars Hill?) Admittedly, some people take it a little too far (copious quantities of hair gel are not an acceptable substitute for the Gospel!!)
I hope your exams go well! Make sure you get at least a few hours of sleep beforehand!

The comments have returned.
Yeah, Tony Jones and Don Miller, I’m talking about you. You emerging folks, you know who you are. Being culturally relevant will not avail you. Unless you want to talk about Markovnikov or chair conformations, don’t bring up organic.
I, however, will keep mine to a minimum. Or not.
Then only legitimate reference to “organic” is if you are talking about a) carbon chains b) produce that has been certified by a federal agency. This applies to everyone, no matter what color of trendy glasses he may wear, no matter the amount of hair product, or the amount of times he can fit “relational” “missional” “relevant” “community” “fellowship” “love” and “intentionality” into one sentence.
